About the Group
Headquartered in Boston, the High Income & Alternatives group manages over $100 billion in assets under management (AUM). The group’s investments span across the capital structure, including high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, convertible bonds, alternative credit, structured credit, and equities. Fundamental research is central to the investment process. The team allocates capital from various Fidelity funds and separately managed accounts (SMAs) for institutional and retail clients. It also oversees Fidelity’s global collateralized loan obligation (CLO) issuance business, with a combined CLO AUM of $11 billion.
Job Description
The High Yield Leveraged Loan Research Analyst will provide investment recommendations based on fundamental analysis and maintain research reports/models for their coverage universe. Recommendations will support investment decisions and credit positions within the European CLO business, focusing on below investment grade capital structures such as syndicated leveraged loans and senior secured bonds. Located in London, you will report to the Managing Director of Research for the European CLO business within Fidelity’s Global High Income & Alternatives division.

- Identify investment opportunities with favorable risk/reward profiles within the CLO’s universe.
- Drive investment/disinvestment decisions through regular communication with the Managing Director of Research and CLO Portfolio Managers.
- Publish detailed research and timely market analysis reports.
- Build financial models, expand industry knowledge, and establish relationships with borrowers.
