About the Role
Fidelity is investing in its Enterprise Architecture team to enable business, technology, and data strategies to flourish. The team drives transformation, aligns innovation with strategy, and ensures that technology investments deliver maximum business value. As a Domain Architect (Data), you will focus on designing, delivering, and guiding complex data architecture solutions. You will act as a guardian of Fidelity’s data landscape, ensuring optimal, secure, and compliant data solutions across the data lifecycle. You will interact with business and technical stakeholders to build context, explain problems, and present solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead logical and physical data architecture initiatives across the enterprise.
- Design, adopt, and implement data product models and supporting data capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, EOL guidelines, and governance standards.
- Provide strategic thought leadership on architecture and data solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and review code artefacts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex technical and business challenges.
About You
- Expert in data architecture concepts with hands‑on experience delivering architecture artefacts.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and issue management.
- Experience in data modelling techniques, AWS Cloud, Snowflake, and associated architecture patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Previous experience guiding junior architects or developers.
- Familiarity with large‑scale enterprise data transformation initiatives.
- Experience bridging business, technology, and data strategy into actionable roadmaps.
