About your team
AMP Delivery is responsible for the design and delivery of all changes in business process and/or technology solutions that support the growth for Fidelity’s Global Investment Solutions & Services business. We partner with Investment Management, Asset Management Operations and Distribution teams across London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Australia, Singapore, and China.
The Research & Sustainability team delivers strategic initiatives that enhance investment decision-making through modern research workflows, investment data platforms, sustainability capabilities, advanced analytics, and AI-powered solutions. We are increasingly leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), frontier AI models, and agentic workflows to transform how investment professionals discover insights, conduct research, and make investment decisions across Equities, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset.
About your role
Fidelity is investing in several strategic programmes to transform the way investment professionals discover insights, conduct research, manage portfolios, and deliver superior client outcomes. As the Senior Business Analyst of the Research & Sustainability team, you will lead the vision, strategy and delivery of AI-powered products that transform how investment professionals discover insights, conduct research and make investment decisions. Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sustainability teams, Architects and Engineers, you will define and deliver next-generation capabilities leveraging Generative AI, agentic workflows and advanced analytics to create measurable business value across global investment teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap and prioritisation of AI-powered products and capabilities supporting Research & Sustainability workflows.
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sustainability teams and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities that improve investment decision-making, research productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Lead the transformation of research and sustainability workflows through Generative AI, agentic workflows, advanced analytics and modern investment data platforms.
- Define and prioritise product requirements, success metrics and business outcomes, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value, user adoption and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers and Data Scientists to design and deliver scalable, secure and reusable AI-enabled solutions.
- Shape future-state operating models and drive the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across global investment teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, data governance, regulatory requirements and Responsible AI standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities and external partners to support Fidelity's strategic investment technology agenda.
- Experience defining requirements for and working with enterprise Data Products and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, including experience supporting large-scale data modernisation and migration from legacy/on-premises environments to scalable cloud-based platforms.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex investment requirements into scalable, governed and reusable data solutions.
About you
With a solid background in the analysis, design and implementation of complex investment management technology solutions, you’re the specialist we need. You bring:
- 10+ years' experience delivering technology, product or transformation initiatives within Investment Management, covering Research, Sustainability and Portfolio Management.
- Proven experience owning and delivering complex front-office technology, digital or AI-enabled solutions from discovery through implementation.
- Strong understanding of research, sustainability, portfolio management and investment decision-making workflows, including investment data, holdings, benchmarks and fund look-through capabilities.
- Experience delivering AI-powered solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI assistants, agentic workflows and knowledge discovery platforms.
- Demonstrated product management experience, including product strategy, roadmap development, prioritisation, backlog management and value realisation.
- Good understanding of sustainability and stewardship processes, including ESG research, proxy voting, sustainable investing regulations (e.g. SFDR, SDR) and ESG reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior investment, business and technology leaders across global teams.
- Knowledge of investment data providers and platforms, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI and Morningstar, as well as similar research ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a global environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to define product success measures and demonstrate business value from technology and AI investments.
- Degree-level education; CFA, FRM, CIPM or related professional qualifications would be advantageous.
