Department Overview
The Global RFP Team plays a critical role in new business development at Fidelity. As part of the sales and marketing process, the team completes high-quality, accurate and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and consultant requests. These documents are essential to winning new mandates and communicating Fidelity’s competitive strengths.
What You’ll Do
As an RFP Manager, you will manage the end-to-end production of proposal documents for prospective institutional clients across the UK and EMEA regions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders from across the business, including Sales, Investment Teams, Product Specialists and Compliance, to ensure Fidelity’s offerings are represented in the most compelling and compliant way.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Project manage the completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and surveys for institutional opportunities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Sales, Investment, Product, Compliance) to gather, develop and tailor content.
- Use and maintain the RFP content database to source and contribute high-quality, reusable answers.
- Ensure proposal content is aligned with Fidelity’s messaging and meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Manage multiple proposals concurrently and prioritise deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Fidelity’s investment products, strategies, and operational processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
Your Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience producing institutional RFPs, ideally within asset management.
- Strong understanding of open and closed-end fund structures and investment strategies.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical content into client-friendly language.
- Comfortable building relationships across diverse internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Degree-qualified, ideally with IMC/CFA or similar investment qualification.
