Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partners, you will provide the full range of HR Advisory and Business Partner support to teams within the FIL Platforms group including:

  • Act as support to Senior HR Business Partners to run cyclical HR activities for FIL Platforms such as talent reviews, the annual compensation review cycle, salary benchmarking, and the promotions cycle.
  • Support the production and continuous improvement of monthly people reporting packs, analysing MI and workforce data to create clear dashboards and high-quality PowerPoint presentations that highlight key trends, risks and insights for management.
  • Manipulate and interpret HR data from multiple systems to generate actionable insights, using advanced Excel (or equivalent tools) to improve clarity and impact.
  • Provide administrative and practical support on day-to-day employee relations matters, helping managers with guidance, documentation and drafting communications, and escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with global HR partners and Centres of Excellence to ensure alignment of people initiatives, consistent application of policy and sharing of best practice across regions.
  • Support the development of manager capability by delivering lunch & learn sessions and practical guidance on common people topics, helping managers build confidence in handling situations independently.
  • Contribute to cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and skills and capability programmes as well as our engagement survey, supporting delivery and coordination where required.

  • Demonstrate a strong analytical and data-driven mindset, confidently interpreting MI, identifying trends and translating insight into clear, high-quality PowerPoint presentations that support decision-making.
  • Are curious about technology and emerging tools, including AI-enabled solutions, and actively seek smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Demonstrate strong Excel capability, confidently manipulating and analysing data (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing and basic modelling) to generate accurate insight and support reporting.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, balancing attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
  • Take ownership for delivery and are motivated to continuously learn, improve and build your career within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrable experience of working on the full range of HR issues, including managing employee relations issues is preferable.
