About your team
The UK Wholesale Marketing team is responsible for communicating the breadth of Fidelity's investment capabilities and solutions. This includes marketing to both investment professionals and retail investors. Working closely with our sales and investment colleagues, the marketing team shapes media campaigns, provides product information, develops market insights and brings investment to life through educational content.
About your role
This is a hands-on role that will drive the success of marketing programs supporting the growth of Fidelity's range of listed Investment Companies. You will be accountable for the execution of the marketing strategy to integrate plans for both investment professionals and retail investors. This includes the existing shareholder base as well as activity to attract new investors.
Utilising paid and owned channels, online and offline, you will plan and deliver programs of activity that align with the objectives of the Investment Companies business and the wider needs of Fidelity's UK distribution. Success is measured against defined KPIs set down by the Boards of each Investment Company.
You will also brief and manage ongoing relationships with agencies and vendors supporting delivery of planned activity, including effective service level evaluation. You will oversee the process to manage production and maintenance of investment companies marketing output and ensure all programs and materials meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
About you
You will have strong technical knowledge of marketing retail investment products, ideally Investment Trusts. This will include audience segmentation, media planning, creative development, copywriting, agency management and performance measurement. With a passion for both communication and investment markets, you will show the ability to understand diverse information and distil it into key messages, effective client content and successful campaigns.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Strong technical understanding of financial markets, investment products and the competitive landscape.
- Previous experience of the investment companies/trust sector preferable.
- Experience of developing messaging and briefs for business-to-business and end-consumer communications, especially through digital channels.
- Experience with the Adobe Analytics and Marketo platforms would be advantageous.
- IMC or similar professional qualification desired.
- Knowledge of the UK regulatory framework as it applies to investment companies, asset managers and distributors.
