Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Ensure data loss events from multiple tools are reviewed within SLA times.
• Work with user management and stakeholders to contain data loss incidents.
• Escalate cases to relevant stakeholders/teams.
• Participate in a global insider risk team to reduce manual workload dependencies.
• Identify policy fine-tuning opportunities from BAU activities.
• Follow and improve documentation of case resolutions.
• Implement controls in various tools.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 4 years in a SOC or Incident Response role, primarily in data loss teams.
• At least 2 years experience with Microsoft Purview, including policy implementation.
• Knowledge of security solutions like Proxy, SIEM, DLP, SOAR.
• Ability to explain security risks and suggest mitigations.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing data loss controls (Microsoft Purview, Proof Point, Zscaler).
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Reporting skills focused on capacity and efficiency improvements.
• Understanding of data exfiltration risks.
• Banking or finance industry experience is desirable.
