About your role
The Sales Associate Director is responsible for generating new business from clients in the Netherlands through high quality relationships and an effective client centric solutions approach as well as securing retention of acquired clients and assets through effective on-going management of the client relationship.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Set, own, and execute a robust business strategy for Dutch market and day-to-day focus on the tactical execution of the strategy
Handle client relationships: build on the existing groundwork with banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates as well as develop opportunities in the broader market
Initiate contact and develop meaningful relationships with institutions that currently do not know Fidelity first-hand
Generate a steady pipeline of opportunities across Fidelity’s investment solutions (segregated and pooled), i.e. equity, fixed income and alternatives
Achieve a balanced conversion to funded business by effectively matching client requirements with Fidelity’s investment competence / business priorities
Continue overall ownership of client relationships post initial investment
Conduct regular investment/market reviews with appropriate support/inputs from investment management
Work closely with the Head of Sales Benelux and colleagues to support and develop opportunities from within their client base
About you
A highly effective business development and relationship management professional rooted in the Dutch market
Passionate about the chance to build on Fidelity\’s reputation and the breadth and quality of its investment products and services
A \’self-starter\’ but also a team player able to build close working relations with colleagues in Continental Europe
A mature, entrepreneurial individual, comfortable with operating in a small but highly professional team
Excellent analytical and conceptual mind, with pragmatic decisiveness
Can-do attitude with the ability to set priorities
Highly developed investment skills with strong competence in sustainable investing
Ability to effectively operate with key partners at all levels, both internal and external
Higher education degree is required, additional finance education (e.g. CFA, CAIA) is an asset
Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English is a requirement
