Responsibilities
- Corrective maintenance works – fault finding, troubleshooting and first‑time fix when possible
- Remedial and small works
- Preventative maintenance
- Client on site liaison
- Work with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
- Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field
- Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
- Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines
- Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
- Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices
- Participate in out of hours On Call rota
- Key Skills
- Proficient in integrated Security and Life Safety Systems disciplines
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles
- Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

Salary and Benefits
- £32,000–£40,500, depending on skills and experience
- Company vehicle and fuel card
- Out of hours On Call required roughly one week in six. £385 per week standby payment, plus callouts: £90 for travel to and first hour on site, and your standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
