Position Summary
The Partner Acquisition Manager is responsible for sourcing, qualifying and converting new Essential partners into the Fidelity channel. They build a strong pipeline of potential partners, articulate the commercial value of working with Fidelity and identify & progress prospects through a structured acquisition process. Once partners are signed, the Partner Acquisition Manager manages their onboarding, ensures early activity and supports initial performance until the partner is ready to transition into the wider channel team. This role is central to driving sustainable channel growth by bringing in high potential partners and ensuring they form early strong foundations that enable long term development into Silver and Gold status.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Sourcing and Acquisition
- Identify, research and prioritise potential partners that fit Fidelity’s Ideal Partner Profile
- Build and manage a strong acquisition pipeline with accurate qualification and disciplined forecasting
- Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement using structured communication and clear commercial messaging
- Deliver compelling presentations and confidently articulate the Fidelity proposition, commercial model and partner journey
- Proactively source information and attend relevant events to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Conversion and Objection Handling
- Progress prospects through a clear and well guided acquisition process
- Handle commercial and operational objections with confidence and clarity
- Create belief in the partner journey and the value of introducing energy opportunities to Fidelity
- Partner Onboarding and Early Life Success
- Deliver onboarding sessions that clearly explain how to work with Fidelity, how to submit opportunities and what support is available
- Drive early activity by helping partners generate their first opportunities quickly and correctly
- Monitor early performance, reinforce required processes and remove operational friction to build partner confidence
- Partner Development and Segmentation Progression
- Identify high potential Essential partners and build progression plans toward Gold
- Coach early stage partners on opportunity creation, lead generation and correct process adoption
- Work with IAMs and BDMs to ensure partners are positioned for long term success
- Collaboration and Insight Sharing
- Provide clear insight on new partners, including behaviour, opportunity quality and growth potential
- Work closely with the Channel Sales Manager, Team Leads, IAMs and BDMs to ensure efficient transitions and aligned partner management
- Share market trends, feedback and partner needs to support continual improvement of the acquisition process

- Competent with CRM systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Excel
