What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of general ledger integrity – ensuring accuracy across all accounts
- Lead reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve issues
- Deliver monthly MI reporting to Group with insightful analysis
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and journals with precision
- Support tax reporting (VAT, Corporate Tax, employment taxes)
- Strengthen and evolve financial controls and processes
- Play a key role in statutory accounts and audit delivery
- Partner across teams (Treasury, Operations, Group Finance)
- Get involved in exciting projects – new products, systems, and process enhancements
- Review and support junior team members, helping elevate team performance
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong experience in financial control, reconciliations, and reporting
- Background in banking or financial services (highly desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills and systems confidence
- Naturally detail-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset
- Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across the business
