They have a proven track record of hiring exceptional people into their team and are adding to the team due to organic and acquisitional growth.

As such they are looking to welcome a fully qualified Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager to manage the financial and management reporting for the bank, working closely with the senior management team and other areas of the bank.

So if you're working for another bank or lender and are looking for a step up into management or already managing and looking for business that will help you to grow and add skills then this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to

  • Managing small, growing finance team
  • Production of the Monthly Management accounts;
  • Prepare the annual financial statements;
  • Ad hoc projects for Board and MI;
  • Work on new accounting judgement papers;
  • Prepare the responses to requests of external auditors;
  • Participate in implementation of new IT systems;
  • Run the IFRS 9 model on Lending;
  • IFRS 16 accounting for leases;
  • Implement the internal controls across the Finance Department;
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of existing internal controls;
  • Monitoring cash flow;
  • Any other duties as required by management.

As the successful candidate, you will be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or CPA accountant from a banking or lending environment.

You will be a passionate individual who is looking for a role in an organisation where you can really add to the growth.

A knowledge of IFRS 9 is essential
