We're supporting a leading global bank in hiring a strategic and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join its high‐performing HR function. This role is a genuine partner to senior leadership, shaping people strategy across front‐office and support divisions and enabling the business to deliver against ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver proactive, insight‐driven HR support across all people‐related matters.
- Lead on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Advise managers on complex employee relations issues, ensuring decisions are risk‐aware and aligned with regulation and policy.
- Drive performance management processes and coach leaders to build high‐performance teams.
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (Reward, Talent Acquisition, L&D, ER) to deliver seamless HR service.
- Support diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, ensuring best practice within a regulated environment.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Support culture initiatives and change programmes across the bank.
About You
- Experience as an HR Business Partner within financial services, ideally investment banking or a similarly fast‐paced, regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge and influence senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of employment law and ER best practice.
- Commercial, analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Able to operate in an agile, matrixed, and high‐pressure environment.
- Excellent judgement, integrity, and discretion.
