Fidarsi are partnering with a dynamic and fast growing brokerage firm. With offices in the UK and the US, they operate in a highly regulated environment and pride themselves on compliance, performance, and people-centric culture. They are now seeking a Head of HR to join their leadership team in a standalone capacity, covering our UK and US operations.
As Head of HR, you will be the driving force behind our people strategy across both jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to shape HR policy and practice in a global setting. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to support business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all HR functions across the UK and US.
- Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leadership and management.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and US labour laws.
- Manage the employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
- Develop and execute initiatives on talent management, DEI, and employee engagement.
- Own HR policies, contracts, and systems ensuring they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory obligations.
- Support global expansion and integration of HR practices.
- Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within financial services or a brokerage environment.
- Deep understanding of FCA regulatory requirements and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Experience covering both UK and US jurisdictions.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability – this is a standalone role.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage across time zones.
