What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of general ledger integrity – ensuring accuracy across all accounts
  • Lead reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve issues
  • Deliver monthly MI reporting to Group with insightful analysis
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and journals with precision
  • Support tax reporting (VAT, Corporate Tax, employment taxes)
  • Strengthen and evolve financial controls and processes
  • Play a key role in statutory accounts and audit delivery
  • Partner across teams (Treasury, Operations, Group Finance)
  • Get involved in exciting projects – new products, systems, and process enhancements
  • Review and support junior team members, helping elevate team performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong experience in financial control, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Background in banking or financial services (highly desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills and systems confidence
  • Naturally detail-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across the business
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
