Hybrid Working
If you're strong on analysis but don't want to disappear into a back-room reporting role, this is the kind of opportunity that gives you more range.
Fidarsi are working on a Lead Analyst hire for a well-regarded, data-led advisory business in financial services. They work with senior leaders across major global institutions, helping them make better decisions through benchmarking, performance insight and sharp commercial analysis.
This role sits in a specialist team covering areas such as e-trading, market data, procurement and wider market infrastructure. The work is genuinely high-value: large datasets, complex client questions, visible deliverables, and regular exposure to senior stakeholders.
What makes it interesting is the mix. This is not just about crunching numbers. They want someone who can take messy data, find the story, structure the answer, and talk credibly with clients about what it means.
What you'll be doing
- Leading analysis across a portfolio of benchmark reports, client projects and product development work
- Turning large, complex datasets into clear commercial insight
- Working closely with clients to understand business problems and deliver useful, actionable output
- Running and contributing to client conversations with confidence
- Managing multiple workstreams at once, keeping quality high and stakeholders well informed
- Supporting broader growth of the product offering, including new ideas and new areas of development
What they're looking for
- Around 3-5 years' experience in consulting, financial services, market data, benchmarking, research, or a related analytical environment
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as a minimum
- SQL and Power BI would be a real advantage
- Good understanding of financial services and the ability to get fluent quickly in the detail
- Someone who is analytical, articulate and commercially minded
- A profile that combines data capability with client-facing confidence
- Enough initiative and curiosity to spot opportunities, improve products and push work forward without being handheld
Likely to suit
This could appeal to someone coming from:
- A consulting background who wants more ownership and depth in the work
- A financial services or market data environment, but with a desire for more client exposure and broader problem-solving
- A strong analyst who has realised they want a role with more visibility, influence and commercial edge
Why this role stands out
- High-profile client base
- Strong mix of analysis, stakeholder interaction and commercial thinking
- Flat, capable team where good people get noticed quickly
- Scope to work across both established products and newer growth areas
- A role for someone who wants to build a career, not just deliver reports
If you're the kind of analyst who enjoys both working things out and talking clients through the answer, this is well worth a look.
