About the Role

As a strategic advisor and trusted partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to shape workforce plans, forecast future talent needs, and influence key decisions that underpin the company’s growth. • Build strong, collaborative, and credible relationships with Executive Committee members, senior leaders, technical managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead on organisational design, workforce planning, and capability development to support growth across Technical, Product, Marketing, and related functions.

People Strategy, Culture & Leadership Effectiveness

  • Play a central role in culture development within both technical and creative teams, ensuring alignment with company values and conduct expectations.

Talent, Performance & People Cycles

  • Lead key HR cycles including salary review, performance, talent mapping, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
  • Guide leaders in building strong talent pipelines, integrating succession plans, and prioritising leadership development.
  • Work closely with CoEs to set resourcing forecasts, manage budgeting, and align recruitment schedules with business priorities.

Employee Relations, Risk & Regulatory Compliance

  • Provide balanced, commercially aware advice across a broad range of ER matters.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UK employment law, financial services regulations, Conduct Rules, and broader risk frameworks.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory risks in employment situations, ensuring robust governance and documentation.
  • Stay abreast of employment legislation, financial-services regulatory changes, and HR best practice.

Change, Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and support organisational changes including restructures, product pivots, team growth, and process improvements.
  • Recommend and implement HR process enhancements that support scalability and operational excellence.
  • Use data, insights, and change-management principles to improve decision-making and drive adoption of key initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Strong experience as an HR Business Partner within financial services, fintech or banking
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility with senior leaders, including ExCo-level stakeholders.

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, ER case management, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in workforce planning, talent management, performance cycles, and organisational design.
  • Commercial mindset with excellent judgement and the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-growth settings.
