We’re hiring a Statutory Accountant to join a stable, diverse, and fast-progressing finance team in the City. This is a standout opportunity for someone who’s recently qualified (or up to ~2 years PQE) and wants a clear runway to develop in a high-performing environment — one where promotions actually happen (two in the past quarter, including a move to the board). You’ll be replacing someone who’s just been promoted to Group FC, so the bar is high — but so is the support. The Role You’ll play a hands-on role in financial and statutory reporting for a PLC, taking ownership of processes and improving how things get done. You won’t be stuck in a silo — you’ll have exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and will be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge the status quo, and make meaningful improvements. The Fit We’re looking for someone who’s: Up to 2 years post-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) From practice (with FS clients) or in-house in a financial services firm Technically solid with a good grasp of financial reporting and statutory accounts Inquisitive, proactive, and not afraid to speak up A clear communicator who enjoys building relationships The Environment This is a genuinely nice place to work. The finance team is 9-strong, multicultural (6 nationalities and counting), and people tend to stay — not because they coast, but because they grow.
