We have over 180 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an experienced Senior Process Engineer to be based from our Stockport office with some project travel in the UK, Ireland, and wider EU.
We are looking for:
- a postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent field);
- ideally a Chartered Engineer, or working toward this;
- practical experience gained from operations, commissioning or a construction role in one or more of the following industries: oil or gas refining, power generation, industrial gas production, or technical consultancy;
- skilled in detailed design and process engineering project management;
- prior exposure to construction processes on a live site;
- ability to prepare and review typical process plant documentation, i.e., heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design documents, process calculations, functional descriptions, data sheets and cause/effect charts;
- good understanding of the principles of process plant layout with excellent knowledge of pipework routing, pressure vessels and pipework arrangement;
- working knowledge of quality control systems applicable to process plant design, manufacturing, and construction and a good understanding of process safety principles;
- have full right to work in the UK;
- the ability and willingness to travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
