As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a Senior or Lead Consultant, qualified to degree level, with extensive power generation plant/process plant experience. This role will be based from our Stockport office with mainly UK and limited Irish travel.

We seek:

  • a good degree in Mechanical Engineering (or close equivalent field);
  • a Chartered Engineer;
  • significant project management experience of thermal, renewable or process plant projects;
  • detailed experience gained in operations, commissioning or complex construction roles;
  • thorough understanding of all relevant UK engineering standards;
  • familiarity with health and safety and process safety principles;
  • practical experience of consultancy processes; production of professional reports, P&ID's, engineering software/models, client and contractor liaison;
  • strong analytical and communication skills;
  • full right to work in the UK with no visa restrictions;
  • the ability and willingness to work from our south Manchester office and travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
