Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a Senior or Lead Consultant, qualified to degree level, with extensive power generation plant/process plant experience. This role will be based from our Stockport office with mainly UK and limited Irish travel.
We seek:
- a good degree in Mechanical Engineering (or close equivalent field);
- a Chartered Engineer;
- significant project management experience of thermal, renewable or process plant projects;
- detailed experience gained in operations, commissioning or complex construction roles;
- thorough understanding of all relevant UK engineering standards;
- familiarity with health and safety and process safety principles;
- practical experience of consultancy processes; production of professional reports, P&ID's, engineering software/models, client and contractor liaison;
- strong analytical and communication skills;
- full right to work in the UK with no visa restrictions;
- the ability and willingness to work from our south Manchester office and travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
