As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting a professional engineer, who has prior project management experience with solar or battery projects, to be based out of our Stockport office.

We are looking for:

  • a good electrical, mechanical or renewables based degree.
  • project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of ground mount solar farm or BESS projects.
  • previous experience of using industry standard software to make solar resource and energy yield assessments.
  • have contributed to feasibility studies, technical reports and design reviews in a previous role.
  • experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure.
  • good understanding of the key technical risks with solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks.
  • the ability to correctly interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions.
  • able and willing to travel in the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc.
