As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a process consulting engineer to work on renewable and thermal energy projects.

This role will be based from our Stockport office with UK and EU travel.

We are looking for

  • a good chemical engineering degree.
  • 4-6 years of project management experience, post degree, gained with the development and construction or acquisition phases of thermal power or renewable energy sites/assets.
  • good understanding of the key technical risks with thermal & renewable energy projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks.
  • knowledge of standard forms of contract and their applicability to the construction and renewable energy project sector.
  • the ability to correctly interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions.
  • prior experience with the preparation of high-quality technical reports, technical drafting, and models for clients.
  • the ability to evaluate, explain and simplify complex technical issues to different audiences.
  • able and willing to travel in the UK, Republic of Ireland and occasionally further afield for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc.
