Our purpose is to facilitate the investment and delivery of energy infrastructure projects that positively influence the energy transition. We support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland, providing design, intellectual and engineering services to developers, investors and owner‑operators. Our team of more than 175 professionals operates from offices in south Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow. We are looking for a senior electrical engineer to join the Stockport office with UK and some EU travel.

What we’re looking for:

  • A good degree in Electrical or Power Systems engineering
  • Significant experience gained post‑university in electrical power generation/transmission infrastructure, including design, project management and commissioning experience in HV, MV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switchgear, substations, switchyards and coordination with UK DNOs
  • Professional communication skills – attends project meetings, writes and delivers high‑quality technical reports and models
  • Experience with sector‑specific electrical engineering software
  • Feasibility studies, due diligence and design reviews
  • Excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering
  • Site and factory acceptance testing experience
  • Site‑based construction monitoring in the UK or Ireland
  • Ability to work as part of a wider engineering team and independently as required
