Our purpose is to facilitate the investment and delivery of energy infrastructure projects that positively influence the energy transition. Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our finance team by recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work from our Stockport office.
Please note this is not a remote role, and candidates must have full right to work in the UK to be considered.
- AAT level 3 or 4 accounting qualification.
- A confident user of Microsoft Office 365 software, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central would be a plus.
- Maths and English Language GCSE grades A-C (9-7) or equivalent.
- Purchase ledger, some expense management (190 staff) and general administrative support working alongside one other clerk.
- Ideally you will have purchase ledger VAT, and expenses knowledge.
- A basic understanding of fixed assets and prepayments is also desirable.
- Experience of correct coding of invoices to P&L ledger nominals.
- A high attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Keen to learn to use new software and business tools and potentially progress with further finance qualifications.
