As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting an experienced senior consulting engineer, who has prior project management experience with large scale solar power projects, to be based out of our Stockport office.

We are looking for:

  • a good electrical, mechanical or renewables based degree.
  • significant project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of large-scale ground mount solar projects.
  • previous experience of using industry standard software to make solar resource and energy yield assessments.
  • have produced feasibility studies, technical reports and design reviews in a previous role.
  • experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure.
  • good understanding of the key technical risks with solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks.
  • knowledge of standard forms of contract and their applicability to the construction and renewable energy project sector.
  • the ability to correctly interpret electrical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions.
  • able and willing to travel in the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc.
  • able to work in the UK without any visa restrictions.
