We have over 180 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a Senior or Lead Consultant, mechanically qualified, with extensive thermal power plant experience, to be based from our Stockport (or Glasgow) offices.
- a good degree in Mechanical Engineering (or close equivalent field);
- ideally a Chartered Engineer;
- significant experience with the selection/sizing of equipment such as fans, pumps, compressors, turbomachinery, generators and their auxiliary systems;
- experience with QA procedures and Inspection and Test Plans for new or refurbished rotating plant;
- practical knowledge gained in operation, maintenance, commissioning or construction roles;
- experience with rotating plant efficiency, reliability, performance monitoring and failure investigations;
- thorough knowledge of relevant standards;
- good understanding of process safety principles;
- Practical experience of consultancy processes; producing professional reports, P&ID\βs, engineering software/models, client and contractor liaison.
- strong analytical and excellent communication skills;
- full right to work in the UK with no visa restrictions;
- the ability and willingness to travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
