Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland; providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in south Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, andGlasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting asenior electrical engineer, to be based out of our Stockport office with UK and some EU travel.
We Are Looking For
An electrical engineer with the following skills and experience.
- a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems engineering.
- significant experience gained, post university, ofelectrical power generation/transmissioninfrastructure to includedesign, project managementand commissioning.
- experience in HV, MV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switchgear, substations, switchyardsand coordinating with UK DNOs.
- deals professionally with external and internal clients, attendsproject meetings, writes and delivers high quality technical reports and models, etc.
- prior experience with the use of electrical engineering sector software.
- the undertaking of feasibility, due diligence and design reviews.
- excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering.
- witnessing of both site and factory acceptance testing.
- the provision of site-based construction monitoring in the UK or Ireland.
- able to work as part of a wider engineering team and also to operate autonomously as required.
