We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting a Senior/Lead electrical engineer to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester, office with UK and limited EU travel.
We are looking for the following:
- a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
- significant experience of electrical design or commissioning experience gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power or consultancy environment, post degree
- exposure to LV, MV and HV systems (Up to 400kV)
- detailed understanding of embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear/switchyards, and substations
- detailed understanding of UK DNO processes (G99, G100 etc)
- experience using industry standard electrical software like DIG Silent, PSCAD, etc.
- a good understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering
- undertaking of UK site-based construction/excitation monitoring/FAT and SAT processes
- able to travel in the UK and occasionally the EU
- full driving licence
- full right to work in the UK
