As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting a Senior/Lead electrical engineer to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester office with UK and limited EU travel.

We are looking for the following:

  • a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
  • significant experience of electrical design or commissioning experience gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power or consultancy environment, post degree
  • exposure to LV, MV and HV systems (Up to 400kV)
  • detailed understanding of embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear/switchyards, and substations
  • detailed understanding of UK DNO process/applications (G99, G100, P28, G5/5 etc)
  • experience using industry standard electrical software like DIGsilent, PSCAD, etc.
  • a good understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering
  • undertaking of UK site-based construction/excitation monitoring/FAT and SAT processes
  • able to travel in the UK and occasionally, for short durations, the EU
  • full driving licence
  • full right to work in the UK
