Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting a professional engineer, who has prior project management experience with solar or battery projects, to be based out of our Stockport office.
We are looking for:
- a good electrical, mechanical or renewables based degree.
- project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of ground mount solar farm or BESS projects.
- previous experience of using industry standard software to make solar resource and energy yield assessments.
- have contributed to feasibility studies, technical reports and design reviews in a previous role.
- experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure.
- good understanding of the key technical risks with solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks.
- the ability to correctly interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions.
- able and willing to travel in the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc.
