As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a Senior Consultant, mechanically qualified and with extensive thermal power plant experience, to be based from our Stockport (or Glasgow) offices.
- A good degree in Mechanical Engineering (or close equivalent field); ideally a Chartered Engineer;
- Significant experience with the selection/sizing of rotating equipment such as fans, pumps, compressors, turbomachinery, generators and their auxiliary systems;
- Experience with QA procedures and Inspection and Test Plans for new or refurbished rotating plant;
- Practical experience gained in operation, maintenance, commissioning or construction roles;
- Experience with rotating plant efficiency, reliability, performance monitoring and failure investigations;
- Thorough knowledge of the relevant standards;
- Aware of good practices for preservation, planned and preventative maintenance requirements;
- Good understanding of process safety principles;
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills;
- Full right to work in the UK with visa restrictions;
- The ability and willingness to travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
