Who are we? Fichtner is a global engineering consultancy established in 1922 with over 2000 employees in over 170 countries. Within the UK and Ireland, our engineers and consultants are involved in some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, owners, and operators.

Projects in development, construction, or operation in the UK and Ireland include more than:

  • 60 major thermal power plants, across the waste, biomass, and conventional power sectors
  • 10 GWh of battery storage
  • 5 GW of solar
  • 7 GW of on-shore and off-shore wind
  • 5 GW of pumped storage hydro projects
  • 20 carbon capture projects, aiming to capture and permanently sequestrate more than 5 million tonnes of CO2 per annum

We have over 185 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an Occupational Health Advisor.

A recognised wellbeing certification is required.

Have good working knowledge of UK OH.
