Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting a senior engineer (electrical bias) to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester office with UK and limited EU project travel.
We are looking for the following:
- a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
- significant experience of electrical design or commissioning experience gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power or consultancy environment, post degree
- exposure to LV, MV and HV systems (Up to 400kV)
- detailed understanding of embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear/switchyards, and substations
- detailed understanding of UK DNO process/applications
- experience using industry standard electrical software like DIGsilent, PSCAD, etc.
- a good understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering
- experience undertaking site-based construction/excitation monitoring/FAT and SAT processes
- able to travel in the UK and occasionally, for short durations, the EU
- full driving licence
- full right to work in the UK
