Our purpose is to facilitate the investment and delivery of energy infrastructure projects that positively influence the energy transition. Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across Ireland, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We have over 180 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Dublin, Belfast, south Manchester and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our UK team by recruiting an experienced civil/structural consulting engineer to be based from our office location in central Belfast.
We are looking for:
- a good degree in Civil Engineering
- be located in or close to Belfast, or willing to relocate upon appointment
- be actively working towards Chartered Engineer/Engineer Ireland status
- recent technical knowledge gained on heavy industrial civils projects
- experience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures and steelwork
- a good understanding of foundation piling, environmental issues, European building codes and geotechnical studies
- the ability to produce and explain high quality technical reports and feasibility studies for clients
- comfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications and functional descriptions
- fully conversant with Microsoft Office
- knowledge of applicable safety, health and welfare regulations and risk assessments, able to identify quality issues and design risks
- Full right to work in the UK (and ROI) without any visa requirements
- a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to site meetings
