The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

As part of the Network Maintenance team, you will actively plan and schedule work for the engineering team in line with network faults and maintenance.

This role will require constant communication with a number of departments to ensure information is accurate and readily available to support the Network Maintenance team.

This role will also involve taking part in an 'on-call' rota for evenings and weekends.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Coordinate the deployment of fibre crews to emergency fault locations
  • Track job progress and update restoration priorities in line with SLAs, providing regular updates to internal business units
  • Accurately update systems to reflect job status and estimated repair times
  • Liaise with supervisors, planners, and Network Operations Centres (NOC) on updates of fault restorations
  • Allocate plant, and specialist equipment where required
  • Arrange access permits and traffic management support, working with the Streetworks team to organise permits
  • Monitor crew welfare, shift changes, and emergency call-outs, ensuring the correct teams are allocated to jobs
  • Keep accurate records of completed work, outstanding faults, and restoration times
  • Escalate delays, safety concerns, or resource shortages
  • Support incident management during changing weather conditions
  • Support the development of processes, workflows and efficiency improvements
  • Track works progress and update with daily whereabouts of teams
  • Participate in an on-call rota , providing out-of-hours coordination and support for urgent telecoms build issues.

Reporting works progress, status, and risk in a regular and timely manner, using appropriate tools and techniques, including escalation of risks to management as needed Adherence to all Health and Safety practices Provide support to management as required

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • You will have a proven track record in coordinating projects, strong administration skills, and advanced IT skills.
  • Experience of planning / scheduling work effectively
  • Strong scheduling experience and administrative background
  • Able to successfully manage relationships with internal and external facing stakeholders
  • High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools
  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable
  • Experience in the Telecommunications sector (desirable)
