JOB SPECIFICATION JOB TITLE: Associate, People & Culture JOB LOCATION: Belfast, hybrid TERMS: Permanent THE JOB As a People & Culture Associate you will play a key role in employee lifecycle tasks, such as onboarding, induction, pre-employment checks, contracts and offboarding, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and a positive employee experience. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? The first point of contact for new colleague inductions. Manage and make recommendations on how to enhance our candidate onboarding experience Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed before colleagues join the business, maintaining compliance and organisational standards Book hotel accommodation/ airline tickets for new colleagues Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new colleagues. Updating and maintaining our HRIS (SAP & Bamboo HR) Prepare and issue onboarding documentation Responsible for the employee offboarding process Ensure all documents updated, filed correctly in employee file (we're paperless), ensuring we manage our data accurately. File auditing to ensure everything is GDPR compliant Producing and distributing employee documentation – contract variations, promotion letters, monitoring of all colleague probations Attending and minute taking at employee meetings Support in the collation of data for NI equality monitoring and return WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Experience in a similar role or an administrative background with a proven track record of producing accurate work and a strong attention to detail. Excellent people skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels. Previous experience working effectively in a busy, fast-paced team environment. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and handle competing demands efficiently. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in creating, managing, and presenting reports. Familiarity with presenting information in a clear and engaging manner. If you hold a relevant people-related qualification, this would be an advantage.
