Dev Ops Engineer JOB LOCATION: Permanent, full time (hybrid) THE JOB We're looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to help design, build, and improve the systems and processes that support our customers, colleagues, and wider business operations.
This role will combine technical problem-solving, programming, systems analysis, and project delivery to create practical solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience across the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help identify operational challenges, translate requirements into effective technical solutions, and support the delivery of systems that make a measurable impact for Fibrus customers and internal teams.
Conduct research and assess hardware/software needs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Operate within an Agile SCRUM environment, contributing effectively to the agile team.
Minimum 3 years as a Software Engineer / Programmer or Dev Ops Engineer, ideally within a telecommunications or infrastructure environment. 3 years experience in 1 of the following Programming Languages - Typescript, Python, C# Cloud Platform experience - Azure or equivalent - Databases, functions, static web apps, enterprise applications Advantageous - knowledge of Microsoft D365 and processes, Database, Docker, Linux Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, able to assess both systems and software requirements.
Demonstrated experience in documenting business processes, conducting root cause analysis, and providing systems support.
Familiarity with tools for data modeling and class diagramming, and proficiency in manual/automated recording tools.
Knowledge of IT best practices, security standards, and processes to support efficient systems operations.
