An established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support major infrastructure works within the London region.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage survey control and setting out for complex civil works
- Oversee and mentor Site Engineers and trainees
- Support Site/Sub Agents with planning, methods, and temporary works
- Lead on quality assurance, ITPs, and engineering documentation
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Assist with materials take-offs, procurement schedules, and as-built records
Requirements:
- Proven experience on civil engineering projects (infrastructure, highways, RC works)
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
- Confined Space certification
- Strong AutoCAD and setting-out capability
- Able to manage engineering activities with minimal supervision
