We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on the pre-construction delivery of foul water infrastructure, including storm tanks and reinforced concrete (FRC) structures within a regulated Severn Trent framework.

Scope of Works:

This role is site-based and centres around sewage treatment works, involving complex drainage solutions, FRC structures, and temporary works packages. You will be working closely with engineering, commercial and SHEQ teams to drive compliance, performance and quality on a technically challenging civils scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations across a live foul water site, ensuring alignment with Severn Trent AMP8 delivery expectations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams to deliver storm tanks, drainage systems and RC structures safely and efficiently
  • Oversee enabling works and ensure best practice in temporary works coordination
  • Monitor programme progress and report risks, delays and mitigations
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards to the highest level
  • Attend progress meetings, contribute to technical reviews and support early-stage design considerations where required
  • Build strong working relationships across stakeholders including client-side representatives, design teams and framework partners

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record managing complex civils projects, ideally within wastewater infrastructure or water treatment
  • Strong technical background in FRC, stormwater systems, and drainage schemes
  • Experience working within AMP frameworks - ideally for Severn Trent Water or other regulated water authorities
  • CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred)
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent)
  • Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) certification
  • First Aid at Work (in-date)

We’re Looking For:

  • A technically minded, hands-on Project Manager who can lead from the front
  • Immediate availability or short notice period
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive approach to quality, safety and delivery within a regulated civils environment
