We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support the delivery of major data centre and mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe. The role is based in London, offering a hybrid working model that combines office-based collaboration with remote working flexibility.
Typical project values range from £2 million to £10 million, covering complex and technically demanding electrical packages within a general electrical contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for data centre electrical packages valued between £2m and £10m
- Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, schedules, and employers requirements
- Utilise preloaded tender packages and quantity take-offs using Bluebeam software (training provided)
- Estimate electrical systems including containment, power, lighting, earthing, generators, switchgear and controls
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
- Assess subcontractor bids
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Support tender adjudications and negotiations
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator on data centre or large commercial projects
- Background in general electrical contracting
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Experience working on UK and/or European projects
