Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join the team in Hounslow working as part of an established and successful team.

to be considered you need proven Automotive experience working within a busy dealership in the capacity of Service Advisor
Service Advisor duties.
As a Service Advisor you will play a pivotal role being the main point of communication between the Technicians and customers. To be successful within this role, it is essential that you have at least 1-2 years recent Automotive Service Advisory experience and working knowledge of using a dealer management system similar to Kerridge.
Automotive Service Advisor Key responsibilities

  • Handover from night shift at 7am and back to nightshift
  • Arranging and booking customer vehicles in for service and repair work.
  • Provide updates and advise on repair work needing to be carried out and gaining authorisation.
  • To handle booking in of vehicles for service / MOT / repair and arranging third party repairs working with the workshop supervisor/stores/other receptionist and management.
  • Issue purchase orders for third party work.
  • Producing service plan, ensuring service plan is followed and customers contacted with due servicing.
  • Typing/pricing/creation of job cards.
  • Issuing work to mechanical staff.
  • Requesting purchase orders and liaising with accounts/stores and workshop.
  • Take cash payment for work carried out by the workshop.
  • To be responsible for H & S, safe working practices in all working areas for themselves and other workers.
  • Create customer invoices and run through the work that has been carried out on their vehicle.
  • Proactively reschedule appointments for the customer for any future vehicle maintenance or servicing.
  • Ensures that each service or repair is followed up with the customer to check they are happy with the service provided.

Able to take initiative and ownership of issues with a proactive can-do attitude.
