What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Operative, you will support a range of workshop activities, including:

  • Cutting, fabrication and assembly work
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
  • Working from job sheets, drawings and cutting lists
  • Completing basic production and quality records
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
  • Identifying and reporting quality concerns or discrepancies
  • Supporting colleagues across different workshop functions as required

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A practical, hands-on approach to work
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to measure and work accurately from dimensions
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • The ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
  • A flexible and team-oriented attitude
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and committed to producing quality work. You'll be comfortable working across a variety of workshop activities, maintaining high standards and contributing positively to the team. Attitude, accuracy and reliability are more important to us than direct GRP experience.
