We are looking for a Marketing Manager to be part of our successful team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will be focused on supporting the Office and Open Storage (Cuboid / Focus Yards) divisions of the business. Leading with autonomy all marketing activities for the FI Office division, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing. This is a pivotal role, that supports the division with the marketing of new and existing office locations owned by the business.
In addition to being the dedicated support for two divisions, the role will also require close liaison with the Group’s sub-brands. A deep knowledge of marketing processes and best practice is essential in order to effectively give guidance to a range of businesses from Finance to Retail.

Your key duties as Marketing Manager will be…
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to define and construct the FI brand, bringing alignment internally and externally and showcasing the core attributes and heritage of the business.
- Define the annual budget for the Office and Open Storage divisions, and oversee the agreed investment for each campaign, and build a robust and accurate reporting structure that demonstrates an active demand from the right audiences. Working to an agreed target for high value leads.
- Bring innovation, new ideas and creative thinking to the business, and be brave when testing and evaluating new marketing programs.
- Manage external resources and agencies, with a keen eye on performance. Build the agency network as and when required.
- Owning the marketing budget for Office and Open Storage, staying close to external fees and ensuring external teams work to a tight scope of works. Own the briefing process – ensuring briefs are clear and concise and are aligned to a clear end goal.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and the SLT to agree annual marketing plans and the objectives that underpin that investment.
- Be the creative architect for the build of all brand assets ensuring alignment to the FI brand.
Key Accountabilities
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Internal Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with all areas of the business. Effectively communicate project updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on priorities.
External Stakeholders: Manage relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers. Understand their needs and expectations and proactively address any concerns.
Project Management and On-Time Delivery
Marketing Campaign Planning: Develop detailed marketing plans with clear timelines, budgets, and deliverables for new developments and retail initiatives.
Project Coordination: Manage the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all materials (social media content, printed collateral, online assets) are delivered on time and within budget.
Process Optimisation: Streamline workflows and implement project management tools to improve efficiency and ensure timely execution.
Consistent Brand Messaging and Communication
Brand Stewardship: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and convey a consistent message across all channels (social media, website, print, events).
Content Review: Review and approve marketing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand messaging.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging across all platforms and ensure a cohesive brand experience.

Lead Generation and Sales Support
Targeted Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads for new developments and retail products/services.
Lead Nurturing: Implement lead nurturing strategies to cultivate relationships with potential customers and move them through the sales funnel.
Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and resources (presentations, brochures, case studies) to effectively engage with leads and close deals.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track key metrics (website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost) to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
Regular Reporting: Provide regular reports to stakeholders on campaign performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, optimise campaigns, and inform future marketing strategies.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role within the retail property sector
- Experience in developing and producing results from a marketing strategy.
- Understanding of all marketing components
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised and initiative-taking.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office
- Planning and organisation skills
At times travelling on your own will be required and overnight stays will be expected when attending shows and events over a course of days or some distance from home. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Key areas of marketing experience would include:
- Product Marketing: Defining the key features and audience for new developments.
- Social Owned and Paid: B2B focus, with some exposure to B2C
- Press & Events: Crisis comms, campaign PR and B2B events
- Community Relations: Working with the development team to positively influence the local communities on the benefits of new developments e.g. Jobs, Local investment, and Environmental schemes.
- Content Creation: Hands on content creation for all channels, as well as working with external creatives.
- Graphic design: Some knowledge of Adobe Suite would be an advantage.
- Web design: Experience with Web design and content management systems would also be an advantage.
