FI Real Estate Management are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will support the organisation’s financial operations by managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficient financial processes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic financial services environment.

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

This role is office based.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Post nominal receipts and payments
  • Reconcile to bank statements
  • Review and approve purchase ledger invoice codes
  • Review and approve purchase ledger payments
  • Raise invoice requests for approval and raise Sales Invoices
  • Reconcile Intercompany ledgers and arrange transfers
  • VAT Returns
  • Assist in the production of quarterly VAT returns and nominal reconciliation
  • Assist Client Management Accountant
  • Assist with end of Month routines
  • Analysis of profit and loss accounts
  • Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in the production of management accounts
  • Ad hoc tasks

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years experience in similar Accounting roles
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Be able to work under own initiative in a pressured environment, sticking to strict deadlines
  • Preferred

Accounts experience working in the Property Management Industry.
