Key Responsibilities: Your main duties will involve all aspects of pitched roofing, including but not limited to:
- Removing or repairing damaged tiles or slates (stripping)
- Inspecting roof timbers for condition and stability
- Measuring roof areas to determine required materials
- Installing insulation and roofing felt
- Fitting slates, tiles, sheets, or cladding
- Applying waterproof membranes to flat roofs
- Installing flashings around chimneys, windows, and walls (plastic or lead)
