We’re looking for someone who can bring a blend of skill, experience, and enthusiasm to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
- Roofing experience (required)
- CSCS Card (required)
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change while working effectively within a team
- A friendly, professional attitude with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities: Your main duties will involve all aspects of pitched roofing, including but not limited to:
- Removing or repairing damaged tiles or slates (stripping)
- Inspecting roof timbers for condition and stability
- Measuring roof areas to determine required materials
- Installing insulation and roofing felt
- Fitting slates, tiles, sheets, or cladding
- Applying waterproof membranes to flat roofs
- Installing flashings around chimneys, windows, and walls (plastic or lead)
- Sealing roof joints with mortar
