We are looking in London for a Business Development Manager to join our UK team!
The person will be selling FI Group main service offering to companies undertaking innovative projects. This will require the person to identify innovative companies, and to explain to them how they may benefit from the R&D tax regime and relevant UK/European Grant Funding, with a view to signing an agreement with that company for FI Group to handle part of their Innovation Funding Strategy. The position requires a high capacity to self-generate leads and participate in the growth of the company, and deal with complex sales cycles with top management.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full 360 sales cycle – Prospecting to Proposals
- Professionally interact with decision makers across all markets and seniority within SME’s to FTSE100
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team, providing guidance and assistance to fellow team members
- Meetings are generated through your own lead generation and inbound marketing leads
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of the UK’s R&D Tax legislation,
- Track record of targeted prospecting across R&D intensive sectors
- Demonstrable experience in opening opportunities to meet with decision makers across SME’s and Large companies within the Life Science and Manufacturing sectors.
- A minimum of 1 year of Business Development experience working in the UK Innovation Funding market (Grants and R&D Tax).
