An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Thames enterprise for 3 x 360 Excavator Operators. FGS Agri, part of the Heathcote Holdings group, is an integrated business supplying the needs of the agriculture and utility sector across the South East. The company prides itself on providing solutions to our clients promptly and professionally, whilst continuing to expand within a rapidly moving sector.
We are looking to recruit 3 applicants, each to be based at one of the locations below:
- Basingstoke, Winchester or Andover area
- Kent or Isle of Sheppey
- Surrey or Sussex area
These are fixed-term seasonal contracts running from July 2026 to October 2026. The role will involve but not be limited to:
- To load spreaders in accordance with policies, procedures and appropriate training.
- Receive instructions from Line Manager regarding jobs to be completed and carry them out efficiently in accordance with the law and the best interests of the company.
- To undertake and perform manual duties from time to time that do not require machinery.
- Operating equipment safely and competently.
This position is a seasonal role only with an anticipated start date of July 2026 up until the end of October 2026, it will involve long hours but with a good rate of pay. Accommodation can be sourced but will not be provided by the Company.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a valid driving licence.
- Excavator / Loading Shovel competency tickets and experience will be an advantage.
- You should have a flexible approach to work; instructions can change daily with weather conditions.
- Willing to travel and work variable hours and differing locations across the South East.
- Attention to detail in your work is essential as is the ability to follow instructions.
- Experience in tractor driving is desirable but not essential.
