About The Role

Position: SIA Response Officer - Manchester Events

Hourly Rate: (Entry Level) £13.95 up to £14.95 (depending on role & location)

Schedule: Evening shifts 17:00-23:30

We are looking for experienced Response Officers who champion our values to join our response teams keeping people safe at Co‑op Live and other event venues across Manchester. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 3 years of experience working in event security. An SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.

Duties include:

  • Assess the suitability of guests and monitor behaviour in line with policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the venue operates to a safe capacity and crowds are dispersed appropriately.
  • Patrol the venue and undertake occasional physical searches of guests.
  • Require guests to leave the venue and/or refuse entry to guests when behaviour or suitability is not in line with house rules or policies, including physical intervention when necessary.
  • Protect assets.
  • Report and record details of incidents, searches and patrols.
