About The Role

Position: SIA Response Officer – Liverpool Events

Hourly Rate: £14.35 – £16.08 * (*inclusive of holiday pay)

Schedule: Evening shifts

We are seeking experienced Response Officers who embody our values to join our response teams, keeping people safe at venues and events across Liverpool.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in event security and possess an SIA Door Supervision Licence, which is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

1. Assess the suitability of guests and monitor behaviour in line with policies and legal requirements.
2. Ensure the venue operates within safe capacity limits and manage crowd dispersal appropriately.
3. Patrol the venue and perform occasional physical searches of guests.
4. Manage guest entry and exit, including refusing entry or requiring guests to leave when behaviour or suitability does not comply with house rules, which may involve physical intervention.
5. Protect assets.
6. Report and record incidents, searches, and patrol activities.

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence

• Ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts confidently
• Keen eye for detail and vigilance to security risks
• Comfortable working in arenas and busy environments

Successful candidates will be subject to security screening in accordance with BS7858:2019.
