About The Role
Schedule: Various shift patterns available over the summer.
Contract Type: Fixed‑term until 30/09/2026.
Hourly Rate: £12.71 (Entry Level) – £13.45 (depending on role & location).
Holiday Accrual: 12.07% in line with government guidelines.
You will be working at major festivals including Bournemouth 7's, Beat Herder, Truck, Kendal Calling, Boardmasters and Shambala.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitoring access points and perimeter patrolling.
- Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.
- Crowd management – foot traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti‑social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
- Deliver approachable customer service and support.
- Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour / take appropriate action.
- Egress control.
- Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.

- Over 18 years old.

- Good awareness of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.
- Confidence working in busy, high‑energy environments.

Additional Requirements
- Happy camping and able to provide the essential camping equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- You may be required to gain an L2 in Spectator Safety certificate as part of your employment; this training will be provided for free.
- As part of the successful application you will need to complete security screening in line with BS7858:2019, along with a DBS check.
- If you already have a valid Standard or Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months, this can be used.
- If not, FGH Group is happy to arrange a DBS check for you, with the administration fee covered, though you would cover the cost of the check.
